How You Can Get Involved

It has been a week since the world has been turned upside down by the selfish ambition and bitter jealousy of one man. The world has been watching in horror as we observe death and destruction live on TV and social media. The world is gripped by these events. People pray, but ask what and how can we help.

Since 2001 God has blessed Ukraine Medical Outreach with many relationships both within Ukraine, Europe, and the United States. Maybe for such a time as this. Over the past week we have been able to pray and encourage the foreign medical students studying in Ukraine as well as connect them to those who can help them particularly in Hungary.

In many ways UMO has been able to leverage our relationships with Christian healthcare professionals in Ukraine, with those in Europe through the International Christian Medical Dental Association, and the United States to respond to the most pressing need for medical supplies inside Ukraine.

We have been able to set up a supply chain, raising funds in the USA, using our contacts in Europe to buy supplies, get supplies to Krakow, Poland where our contact then transports them to Lviv to be dispersed throughout Ukraine, particularly Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odessa.

You can support these efforts by sending a donation to Ukraine Medical Outreach HERE ON OUR WEBSITE or send your check to P.O. Box 2824 Salisbury MD 21802.

Thank you in advance for your prayers and financial support.

Ukraine Medical Outreach

"Ministry is always a process and not an event.  Ministry is the willingness to make long-term investments in the lives of others, with the hope that God will do what he alone can do as we are making those investments." Paul Tripp in A Quest for More

Ukraine Medical Outreach, Inc. began in the summer of 2001 with the goal to reach medical professionals for Christ. Over 15 years later, the goal is the same.

Through medical conferences and English classes, Jim is building trust, increasing competency of care, and growing relationships with healthcare providers. A very exciting aspect of this work is the growing number of medical students who are looking for ways to integrate their faith into their soon-to-be professions.

Marianna visits hospitalized HIV+ children at two area hospitals, modeling compassion and providing much-appreciated play time. She is excited to oversee a new aspect of the hospital relationship, a ministry to the parents of these hospitalized children. Together, she and Jim work with visiting teams to organize camp experiences for both the outpatient and inpatient children.
